Human family exhibition
Human family – photographic mission on the value of life
Martin Črep about the Human family project
The Human family was the first outdoor exhibition in Slovakia.
In May 2006, I traveled to Afghanistan – the country of extreme situations, to visually capture the ordinary life – a “human family” – the landscape, the people and their true faces, marked by protracted war, hopelessness, suffering and hunger.
Why Afghanistan? Primarily due to these reasons: people – ethnic variations, pride, hospitality, friendliness, independence, spirituality and the love for life. Culture – a blend of several influences and countries. Nature – rugged, pristine, magnificent and beautiful.
History – living in your past will take its toll on your future
